The Norwalk River Valley Trail is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organized in 2011. The NRVT Board of Directors includes representatives from the five towns through which the NRVT runs: Norwalk, Wilton, Ridgefield, Redding, and Danbury. It is an all-volunteer organization, with the exception of a full-time Executive NRVT Director. The NRVT meets monthly and meetings are open to the public.
